I edited it a bit because I didn't have something for every month. October, November (1), and December are WIPs because I haven't finished them. and August is just a really awful first attempt at getting used to my tablet.
You can tell that once school started my art life just completely died. Also, I definitely think I peaked in June when I drew Ben. That's definitely my favorite thing that I've ever drawn.
Anyway, this year basically marked my transition from purely traditional drawing to digital drawing. It's still a transition that's in progress, but I really like how this kind of sums it up.
Next year's summary will probably be more complete and include more digital works. looking forward to it! hopefully college apps won't kill me(:

ahh thank you! I think I've kinda figured out my main skin-coloring technique that I'll stick with. still need to work out techniques for stupid irises and stupid hair and stupid clothing and stupid stupid stupid facial hair.
and it's okay. who needs words when there's art and music?
haha scruff is nice if it turns out looking good. it's not as painful as actual hair though, since I usually choose refs with light, subtle stubble and not full blown mustaches and beards
